In its 15th edition, the Barcelona's D'A Film Festival has become in an essential springtime event for the fans of contemporary indie and auteur cinema, both local and from around the globe. Some of the films shown have already won awards at other festivals while many are getting their Spanish premiere. With close to 100 films being presented, one of the highlights of D'A is always the attendance of many of the directors whose works are being shown for round tables and Q&A sessions about their productions.

Festival de Cinema de Muntanya de Torelló
The Torelló Mountain Film Festival has been running for more than 40 years. This is one of the most important festivals of its kind in the world and every year it shows the top films on activities related to the mountain and nature. Ten days of documentaries and films covering diverse genres: expeditions, nature reports, adventure sports, environmental issues... The festival also boasts exhibitions, a publisher area and other activities related to the mountaineering world.
10 districts, 34 venues, five disciplines. The Barcelona Cultural District is a circuit of professional performances but also a program of artistic community project creation. The International Film Festival Barcelona - Sant Jordi, or the BCN Film Fest 2025, presents a selection of international movies, which are adaptations of literary works or productions, with a historical theme or biographies of famous people. The festival coincides with Sant Jordi, a popular, cultural festival. Maintaining this link, the International Film Festival Barcelona - Sant Jordi, is open to the public interested in movies and culture. The BCN Film Festival is also educational, hence part of programming is addressed to schools to offer the teaching community a new educational resource.Pantalla Barcelona Festival comes back from 17 October to 29 March on it's thirteenth edition. 23 civic centers in Barcelona will be screening films made, shot or produced in Barcelona, including also a wide variety of international films. As usual, this year's edition will feature a programme of complementary activities and workshops with film professionals and, as a new feature this autumn, the Pantalla circuit will be joined by the Petit Cineclub, a space dedicated to the screening of animated films for the youngest members of the family.

Inclús Barcelona international disability film festival
From November 26 to December 3 Barcelona will be hosting a new edition of Inclús, the Barcelona International Disability Film Festival. An event that raises awareness of the reality of people with disabilities through audiovisual works and other activities centered on the different areas of functional diversity.
The seventh art deals with the other six in this festival of cinema and art in Spain and Latin America. All disciplines have a place in the DART Festival: photography, art curatorship, painting, performance, architecture, art movements and, in general, any aspect of contemporary art, with a special focus on the artists, their creative processes and the stories behind their work. The different films are diverse in their approaches, but all of them cover some aspect from the emergence of the avant-garde at the beginning of the 20th century, up to the present day. In addition, the festival includes informational activities, talks, visits to art galleries, exhibitions and debates. It can also be followed in cinemas throughout Spain and online through the FILMIN platform.
