The Miró-Matisse exhibition aims to show the deep, lasting and constructive relationship between the two artists, despite the fact that they belonged to different schools, came from different generations and had different aesthetic approaches. The exhibition traces their distinct pictorial natures and also reflects on the deep critical restlessness that they both manifested in their lives, which led to this mutual recognition.
