Agnès Varda (1928-2019) was one of the few women of her generation to become an established filmmaker. With more than 40 titles, including short and feature films, Varda stands out for her rhetoric firmly rooted in her time, with the aesthetics of the modernist Nouvelle Vague, and for her ability to discover and grasp the possibilities of the digital image when it first appeared. Now, the Centre de Cultura Contemporània - CCCB - is presenting her entire oeuvre. In this exhibition, we can appreciate her mastery of technique, her sense of detail and her great rigor in composition.
